Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Warehouse Operative at 33mm. As a Warehouse Operative specialising in picking, packing, and quality control, you will be an integral part of our warehouse team. Your primary responsibilities will include selecting, packing, and inspecting products to ensure they meet our quality standards before dispatch. This role is vital in maintaining the smooth operation of our warehouse and ensuring our customers receive flawless products on time.
The expected working time of this role would be 5 days per week, from 9am to 5pm, on-site at our office/warehouse in Manchester City Centre.
Key Roles And Responsibilities
Efficiently and accurately pick and pack items from the warehouse shelves according to customer orders meeting the company KPI's
- Inspect products before packing to ensure they meet the brand's quality standards. Identify and report any defects, damages, or discrepancies. Ensure only high-quality items are shipped to customers.
- Prepare packages for shipment, ensuring they are correctly labelled and meet all shipping requirements.
- Assist with stock control and inventory management, including stock checks and replenishment of picking areas.
- Always adhere to health and safety regulations, including maintaining a clean and organised work environment.
- Work closely with other warehouse operatives, management and other departments to ensure smooth operations and continuous improvement and organisation.
- Assist in loading and unloading delivery trucks as of when required.

- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, particularly in picking, packing, or quality control roles, is desirable but not essential.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately follow instructions and work with precision, especially in inspecting products for quality.
- Quality Focus: An eye for detail in identifying product defects and ensuring high standards are maintained before shipping.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to safely load, unload, and move boxes within the warehouse, including handling large and heavy items that require physical strength.
- Communication: Good communication skills, with the ability to work well within a team.
- Time Management: Ability to prioritise tasks and work efficiently under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Tech-Savvy: Basic computer skills and familiarity with warehouse management systems or handheld scanners is a plus.

Pay: £12.40-£12.50 per hour
